Stantec is looking for a detail-oriented Senior Cost Advisor experienced in Quantity Surveying. In this key position, you’ll collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to manage and deliver large capital projects.

Your role will involve preparing detailed cost estimates, project reports, and innovative solutions to complex estimating challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare quantity take-offs and estimates for major projects

• Conduct cost risk assessments and simulations for contingencies

• Coordinate with estimating disciplines for cohesive project evaluations

• Provide recommendations on staffing for estimating activities

• Support project procurement and client negotiations

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Civil estimating

• Knowledge of CIQS and AACE guidelines preferred

• Strong team collaboration and communication skills

• Technical degree/diploma in a related field

• Familiarity with estimating software and MS Office
