As part of the construction team for Canada's first Small Modular Reactor, you will be responsible for delivering training on various safety protocols required for the SMR-X project. Your contribution will focus on ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and fostering a proactive safety culture among team members.
Key Responsibilities:
• Train staff on safety programs like Confined Space Entry and Forklift Operation
• Document and track competency for training programs
• Collaborate on the development of training materials
• Engage in safety inspections and audits on construction sites
• Promote continuous improvement in safety practices
Requirements:
• Minimum of five years in health and safety roles within the industry
• Experience with training large groups using adult education methodologies
• In-depth understanding of OHS regulations
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work in diverse environments
