Buduchnist Credit Union, operating as BCU Financial, is seeking a skilled problem solver with strong interpersonal skills to join our team as a part‑time Member Services Representative (MSR). The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic, service‑oriented professional who listens carefully to member needs and delivers accurate, timely, and effective solutions. The MSR demonstrates a strong understanding of customer service best practices, solid product knowledge, and confidence using technology platforms to support members efficiently.

As a key front-line representative of BCU Financial, the MSR ensures that every member feels welcomed, respected, and supported. Working collaboratively with colleagues, the MSR provides exceptional service, addresses members’ needs, and connects members with appropriate BCU products and services.

• Process member transactions (deposits, withdrawals, bill payments, cash or certified cheques, receive bill payments, buy/sell foreign cash, drafts, renew GICs and registered plans, etc.).
• Answer incoming customer calls regarding billing issues, product issues, service inquiries, and general member issues.
• Assist and direct members to use available technology to complete banking transactions (i.e., ATM deposits, e-transfers, online banking) and assist in Online Transaction (OLT) tracing when required.
• Initiate requests for cheque orders, member cards, stop payments, account information updates, and member statements.
• Review emails and act appropriately or elevate as needed.
• Update member account information and track member service calls.
• Promote and sell financial products to meet member needs and achieve sales goals.
• Engage in Treasury duties.
• Process incoming branch mail, order and maintain office supplies/documentation.
• Remain updated on product knowledge and sales initiatives, and be informed of any changes in company policies.
• Proficiently use BCU’s platforms and systems.
• Adhere to applicable industry regulations, privacy laws, and BCU policies and procedures.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and excellent rapport in all communications with members and colleagues.
• Perform all other duties as required.

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Undergraduate degree or equivalent preferred)
• Experience working with and handling cash.
• Knowledge of banking products and services.
• Strong technological skills, including tablet and mobile applications.
• Solid troubleshooting abilities and decision-making skills, both proactive and reactive.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, specifically Excel and Word.
• Ability to communicate in Ukrainian is an asset.
• Previous sales experience is considered an asset.

Salary Range: $21.00 – $26.00 per hour.Compensation for this role will be determined based on experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and education/training.
