Customs Technology Support Representative

Support Descartes customers through customs technology expertise, accurate troubleshooting, and clear communication while addressing product and service inquiries efficiently.

The Customer Support Representative supports Descartes proprietary products and solutions. This customer-facing position evaluates incoming requests, analyzes responses within Customs regulations, and recommends solutions. You will also coordinate with customer IT departments and technical teams to resolve software and system challenges.

• Support customers using Descartes proprietary products and solutions
• Answer, evaluate, and prioritize incoming end-user requests
• Analyze Customs-related responses and recommend appropriate solutions
• Escalate system problems to technical teams
• Create customer and internal support documentation

• Current Certified Customs Specialist designation required
• Knowledge of Customs Brokerage operations or Freight Forwarding required
• Bachelor degree or equivalent in a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Problem-solving, critical-thinking, and customer-service abilities
