About the Role

Thank you for considering applying for our Dental Concierge role. We're excited to be hiring for multiple full-time Dental Concierge at Mall Road Dental. Our Dental Concierge role is unique position for a dental office - this is because we do not operate as a ‘standard’ dental office. We see role as a service-minded professional who loves a fast-paced environment within a health care setting.

This highly important role greets and services our patients from our Care Desk, while also being an integral part of managing our office and supporting our team members.

About our Clinics within Anytime Dental Group

We’re a fast growing, newly established company that has thirteen clinics throughout Ontario. In the summer of 2023, we started our journey to build a central support team to help ensure our clinics have the support they deserve. We believe that we have created never-seen-before dental practices that are undoubtedly committed to our patients, their families and our employees experience. As oral health is such a priority to us, we provide free basic dental care and cleanings for our employees and their immediate family.

Below we’ve listed your formal responsibilities, but other responsibilities may arise.

• Act as the first point of contact to patients, particularly through welcoming and hosting in-person, over the telephone, and through email, with a view to deliver outstanding customer/patient service.
• Coordinate appointments, fill vacancies in the schedule and coordinate schedules for practitioners.
• Manage patient inquiries, complete referrals, liaise with other offices in a clear and concise manner.
• Communicate recommended treatment plans (for fillings, implants, etc), insurance coverage and resulting out-of-pocket expenses and/or payment plan.
• Bill patients and their insurance companies and maintain accurate patient accounts.
• Follow up on outstanding accounts receivable from insurance companies and patients.
• Maintain patient files, charts, and reports data into the Electronic Records system.

• A minimum of one year of administrative/reception role
• Evening and weekend availability is required. The clinic is open 7-days a week and until 9pm Mon‑Fri.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills: demonstrated ability to adapt and respond to a variety of patients.
• Friendly and calm demeanor.
• Thrive working in fast-paced environments.
• IPAC certification is not required but considered an asset.
