Registered Dental Hygienist

Overview

Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) Certified Office. We are currently looking for a vibrant Registered Dental Hygienist. Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT Certification) is an asset but we offer and pay for training to a motivated individual. We are a unique office that has embraced the GBT system for the benefit of both our patients and our hygienists. The system provides a high level of clinical excellence and has the added benefit of significant improvements in the ergonomics and physical demands of the hygienist.

• Reviewing patient medical history.
• Scaling and prophylaxis.
• Oral Cancer screening.
• Assessing oral health and pre-diagnosis for doctor examinations.
• Zoom Whitening.
• Impressions.
• Fissure Sealants.
• Patient Education.

• 3 to 5 years of clinical experience is preferred.
• Software and digital savvy (understanding of the Dentrix software system is an asset).
• Excellent diagnostic skills.
• Outstanding ability to educate and communicate with patients.
• The ability to work together with a dynamic team and support good periodontal health.
• Full-time but flexible hours. Part-time can accommodate your schedule.
• Experience with Zoom Whitening (or other whitening procedures), able to diagnose and recommend appropriate treatment cases.
• Able to use the continuing care list on Dentrix to contact and schedule patients during cancellations and downtime.
