This is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Hamilton, ON, for a PSW Practicum Supervisor at Academy of Learning Career College Hamilton Campus. The PSW Practicum Supervisor will oversee personal support worker students during their practical training placements. Responsibilities include mentoring students, monitoring their progress, providing constructive feedback, ensuring adherence to program standards and health protocols, and maintaining effective communication with placement site coordinators.

The Supervisor will also support students in developing essential caregiving skills aligned with industry requirements.

• Strong experience and skills in mentorship, staff supervision, and performance monitoring.
• Understanding of personal support work standards, caregiving practices, and health and safety protocols.
• Effective communication skills, including counseling and providing detailed feedback to students.
• A relevant qualification in healthcare, nursing, or personal support work, and practical experience in these areas.
• Ability to work collaboratively with students, faculty, and placement site staff.
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Experience in adult education or supervising students in a training setting is an asset.
• Familiarity with local healthcare requirements and regulations is beneficial.
