The Student Supports Assistant position is ideal for Mohawk College students seeking hands-on experience while helping fellow students navigate their academic challenges. You will listen to inquiries, triage concerns, and foster connections within the student body. The role requires collaboration with other departments to enhance service delivery and ensure a supportive environment for all.
Key Responsibilities:
• Triage and respond to student concerns with empathy
• Promote MSA involvement opportunities among students
• Deliver essential support services, including health plans
• Manage reception duties, greeting and assisting visitors
• Connect students to MSA and College resources
Requirements:
• Must be a currently enrolled Mohawk College student
• Prior customer service experience is preferred
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
• Ability to travel between campuses if needed
• Commitment to equity and inclusion in support efforts
