Part-Time After School Educator Dundas

Make a difference in children's lives at Umbrella Family and Child Centres as a part-time After School Educator in Dundas, Ontario. Engage children in meaningful activities while ensuring their safety and well-being.

This permanent part-time position offers 16.5 hours per week, scheduled from Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, at the Dundana Centre. You will create and implement programs tailored to children’s developmental needs, providing enriching play experiences and healthy snacks. This role involves supervising children in both indoor and outdoor settings, ensuring they transition smoothly from home to program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet children and families with warmth and professionalism

• Support self-regulation and social engagement

• Facilitate activities using the programming cart

• Provide healthy snacks while ensuring safety

• Supervise indoor and outdoor play opportunities

Requirements:

• ECE Diploma and good standing with the College of ECEs

• Related experience in childcare settings

• Knowledge of How Does Learning Happen?

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• First Aid with CPR Level C certification
