About Hillfield Strathallan College

Founded in 1901, Hillfield Strathallan College (HSC) offers a seamless academic journey from 18 months to 18 years. Located on a 50-acre campus on Hamilton's West Mountain, HSC provides a unique educational pathway for students through four school offerings:
Junior, Montessori, Middle and Senior. HSC prepares students to live with purpose – to understand their world, inspire, lead, act, and make a difference in their own unique ways.

We are very proud of our long tradition of teaching excellence and of our success in preparing young people to enter the academic program and university of their choice. HSC students benefit from enriched academic opportunities, including the Advanced Placement Program, rich arts and athletic program and a wide range of co‑curricular activities.

We are currently seeking passionate and committed teachers to join our faculty.

• Previous experience teaching (pre‑service practicums will be considered);
• Possess an Ontario Teachers’ Certificate or equivalency;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a passion for education;
• Required to participate in the co‑curricular life of the College;
• Possess up‑to‑date skills in the area of technology;
• Embrace a model of student‑centred learning;
