Position: McMaster University Student Support Advocate

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree and possesses three years' experience in a student services capacity. This role involves providing confidential advice, assessing eligibility for various programs, and collaborating effectively with multiple stakeholders to support student needs. You’ll be pivotal in solving complex problems while maintaining high service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer guidance on admission requirements and financial aid

• Analyze student accounts and process financial applications

• Facilitate communication between students and university staff

• Support at-risk students with referrals to appropriate services

• Collaborate on outreach events and educational sessions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Social Sciences, or related

• Three years of relevant student service experience

• Strong ability to multitask and prioritize

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Experience with financial aid processes and policies
