Join McMaster University as a Sessional Faculty for the course SUSTAIN 2SD3 in Fall 2026. This role involves engaging students with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals through dynamic, hands-on learning experiences.
As part of this faculty position, you will teach lectures on Mondays and tutorials on Thursdays, enriching students' understanding of sustainability.
Your role includes guiding interdisciplinary teamwork and facilitating discussions on complex sustainability issues through diverse engagement methods. A passion for sustainability and education is key.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach SUSTAIN 2SD3 lectures and tutorials
• Engage students in discussions on sustainability
• Facilitate teamwork through debates and simulations
• Develop course materials and assessments
• Evaluate student progress and provide feedback
Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree in a relevant field
• Master’s degree preferred
• Ten years of relevant experience desired
• Strong commitment to inclusive education practices
• Ability to foster a diverse learning environment
