Political Science Sessional Faculty – Genocide Course

McMaster University seeks a passionate Sessional Faculty member for POLSCI 3KK3, focusing on genocide and political perspectives, for the Winter 2027 term on campus.

This teaching role is designed for educators with a strong background in political science and a commitment to exploring complex humanitarian issues. A Master's degree is required, while a Ph.D. is preferred. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the POLSCI 3KK3 course on Tuesdays from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM

• Engage students through interactive discussions

• Provide guidance and support to teaching assistants

• Evaluate and grade student submissions

• Develop course materials that enhance learning

Requirements:

• Master’s degree at minimum;
Ph.D. is preferred

• Previous teaching experience in related subjects

• Strong commitment to educational equity
