As a Teaching Assistant, you will guide tutorials, oversee labs, and supervise field trips while engaging with students from diverse backgrounds. Your responsibilities will include preparing course materials, offering student consultations, and grading assignments. This role is designed for current students in social sciences or humanities who are passionate about equitable education.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead tutorials and supervise laboratories for undergraduate students
• Prepare reading materials and attend lectures regularly
• Consult with students via email and office hours
• Invigilate exams and assist with grading tasks
• Complete additional duties as assigned by the instructor
Requirements:
• Currently enrolled in a social science or humanities program
• Interest in education approaches for equity and inclusion
• Previous Teaching Assistant experience preferred
• Knowledge of ethical assessment practices
• Commitment to collaborating within an inclusive environment
