The School of Labour Studies is inviting applications for WRKLAB 4C03 from September 8 to December 10, 2026. This course targets collective bargaining strategies within public sector unions, contributing to students' learning on labour processes. Candidates with a PhD or ABD are preferred, but those with an MA and teaching experience are also welcome, stressing an interdisciplinary approach.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate the WRKLAB 4C03 course lectures
• Discuss public sector unionization and bargaining models
• Review legal rights and impasse resolution techniques
• Present empirical research on dispute resolution
• Guide students in exploring labour-related topics
Requirements:
• Preferred PhD or ABD in relevant disciplines
• Adequate teaching experience in educational or labour settings
• Ability to engage with interdisciplinary labour topics
• Strong organizational and communication skills
