Join McMaster University as a sessional faculty member for Innovate 1Z03, an exciting course exploring artificial intelligence’s history and implications starting September 2026. Provide educational insights through guest lectures and student engagement.

This position is part of the Innovation minor for the  academic session at McMaster University. As a sessional faculty, you will cover essential topics surrounding artificial intelligence while inviting industry experts to enhance student learning.

Your role includes facilitating discussions and assessments to cultivate critical thinking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach and guide students on AI topics

• Introduce guest experts to deliver special lectures

• Encourage interactive classroom discussions

• Assess and provide constructive feedback on assignments

• Develop engaging course materials

Requirements:

• Post Secondary Degree required

• Master’s Degree and ten years of experience preferred

• Teaching experience in relevant fields

• Deep understanding of innovative technologies

• Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in education
