This is a teaching role focusing on developing an understanding of the historical development of education in Canada. Candidates should possess relevant teaching experience and are preferred to hold a PhD or equivalent. This course is projected to have an enrollment of 100 students, and includes the support of teaching assistants based on class size.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate engaging lectures every Friday morning
• Guide discussions on significant educational policies
• Provide feedback and support to students
• Collaborate with teaching assistants on course delivery
• Assess assignments and maintain academic standards
Requirements:
• Relevant teaching experience in history or education
• Preferred PhD or equivalent in a related field
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage a diverse classroom
• Commitment to equitable teaching practices
