- Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in business, education, or a related field; a graduate degree is preferred. - Experience:
Minimum of 8 years of managerial experience, preferably in a post‑secondary sector. - Additional:
Experience in student recruitment is an asset; experience developing, coordinating, and implementing programs with multiple stakeholders; managing volunteers, staff, and students.
- Collaborate with university central offices (Central Recruitment, Registrar, Central Marketing, Student Success Centre, Office of International Affairs, etc.) and represent the Faculty in all policies, practices, and procedures related to student recruitment.
- Share strategic recruitment direction for the Faculty with stakeholders, working with Central teams and departments/schools to attain input and build/manage relationships.
- Guide and influence outcomes by building strong and collaborative working relationships, advocating for the Faculty and supporting University strategies to meet enrollment targets while developing innovative programming and recruitment materials for domestic and international students.
- In consultation with the Dean of Faculty Affairs (DoFA), Dean, Associate Deans, and Associate Director, advise on and propose annual domestic and international enrollment targets for the Faculty, utilizing year‑on‑year trends and market analysis data.
- Assist in reviewing and monitoring admissions and entrance award structures and assessments; support the Associate Director in managing the annual enrollment management processes for all incoming students.
- Support monitoring of admissions enrollment statistics for all programs and work with central offices to analyze comparable faculties at competitor institutions.
- Evaluate, track, and support student transition supports (webinars, information sessions, New Student Guide Development, new student transition program planning), in collaboration with departments/schools and central offices such as Student Success and International Services, to support student retention.
- Overall responsibility for undergraduate and graduate student recruitment for the Faculty.
- Develop and implement full‑cycle strategic plans aligned with Faculty and University priorities, competitor analyses, and market reports to guide tactical recruitment efforts; create systems to measure program effectiveness.
- Identify, recommend, and implement new Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) strategies for all outreach, recruitment, and admissions activities; report diversity data to senior leadership annually.
