Wesley Urban Ministries seeks a Relief Early Childhood Educator to deliver quality education, earning from $18.29 to $28.37 hourly. Help foster a nurturing environment for children's growth and learning.

In this unionized, temporary role, you'll develop and evaluate educational programming, ensuring it aligns with the Ministry of Education’s standards. The position requires creating a safe space for children of diverse backgrounds, supported by collaboration with team members. You will interact with clients, focusing on various community needs and compliance with licensing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement engaging educational programs daily

• Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for children

• Oversee play-based learning and supervision

• Ensure needs are met in adherence to licensing standards

• Support and engage with clients from diverse backgrounds

Requirements:

• Early Childhood Education diploma or degree

• At least 2 years of experience in childcare

• Familiarity with applicable legislation

• Current First Aid/CPR certification

• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training
