This role, reporting directly to the Principal, involves collaborating with the classroom teacher to implement the kindergarten program in alignment with Catholic education values. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of two years’ experience in early learning and a valid First Aid and CPR certification. The position focuses on fostering classroom management and effectively responding to diverse student needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement kindergarten programs with classroom teachers
• Ensure classroom management and student engagement
• Communicate effectively with parents and staff
• Handle emergency situations according to Board policies
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in interactions
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in an Early Learning setting
• Valid First Aid and CPR Certification (preferred)
• Current clear Vulnerable Sector check prior to hiring
• Driver’s license with reliable transportation preferred
• Commitment to equity and inclusion principles
