Position: HWDSB Qualified French Teacher Needed
HWDSB is looking for qualified French Teachers for the Elementary and Secondary Occasional List to enhance language education in our schools. Join us in fostering a supportive learning environment.

In this role, you will provide instruction in our Core French and French Immersion programs starting from Grade
1. Successful candidates will possess certification from the Ontario College of Teachers and demonstrate strong proficiency in French and English. We welcome applications from recent graduates who are pending certification, as well.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach French across age groups in various subjects

• Enhance student learning through engaging lessons

• Collaborate with other educators to improve curriculum

• Ensure a safe and Inclusive classroom environment

• Participate in ongoing professional development

Requirements:

• Certified by the Ontario College of Teachers

• Native-like French fluency and strong English skills

• French as a Second Language, Part 1 or equivalent

• Submit practicum assessments and evaluations

• Commitment to inclusive teaching practices
