Children's Pastor

Position: Full-Time Children's Pastor
Empower children through faith at Church on the Rock in Hamilton, Ontario as a full-time Children's Pastor. This role focuses on discipleship, evangelism, and volunteer leadership development.

In this key position, you will lead Sunday services for children ages nursery to grade 5, ensuring they experience a growing relationship with Jesus. Your responsibility includes recruiting, training, and supporting volunteers, while also engaging with parents to strengthen their role as spiritual leaders. Your commitment will help foster community, spiritual growth, and Biblical literacy among the youngest church members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct Sunday programs for children, ages nursery through grade 5

• Recruit and nurture a team of children's ministry volunteers

• Partner with youth ministry for effective student transitions

• Host church events to involve children in community activities

• Support parents in their spiritual parenting journey

Requirements:

• Experience leading or participating in children’s ministry

• Strong faith and Biblical knowledge

• Ability to work cooperatively within team settings

• Creativity and enthusiasm in teaching children

• Commitment to innovative approaches in ministry
