Part Time Early Childhood Educator Rockton

Wesley Urban Ministries is looking for two part time educators for the Rockton Elementary school. You will develop and implement programs aligned with the Ministry of Education’s pedagogy while ensuring a safe and responsive learning atmosphere for children. Your experience in a Before and After School program will be invaluable as you collaborate with diverse clients and community partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and evaluate daily operations of the program

• Implement Ministry of Education’s “How Does Learning Happen?” pedagogy

• Maintain a safe, engaging learning environment for children

• Provide quality supervision and play-based learning

• Ensure compliance with licensing requirements and program needs

Requirements:

• Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child and Youth Work

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience

• Knowledge of Child Care and Early Years Act

• Current First Aid/CPR and N.V.C.I. training

• Experience in collaborative community engagement
