Join McMaster University as a part-time Teaching Assistant and support the Integrated Biomedical Engineering program.
This role offers hands-on experience and the chance to work closely with students and faculty.
The position is available for courses beginning Fall 2026, seeking undergraduate students in Engineering or Health Sciences with at least a Level II completion. Ideal candidates will have lab and tutorial experience to effectively support course instruction while maintaining a cumulative average above 7.5.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and facilitate lab sessions and tutorials
• Prepare instructional and grading materials for courses
• Engage with students through office hours and email communications
• Conduct invigilation during examinations
• Fulfill other assigned instructional duties
Requirements:
• Must be an undergraduate student in relevant programs
• Maintain a cumulative average above 7.5
• Prior teaching experience is an advantage
• Must not possess an undergraduate degree
• Confirm availability for assigned courses' labs and tutorials
