Position: Full-Time Early Childhood Educator Riverdale
Join Wesley Urban Ministries as a Registered Early Childhood Educator in Riverdale. This full-time, temporary role supports children's growth through a nurturing learning environment.

We are seeking a motivated Early Childhood Educator for a full-time position from September 1, 2026, to January 4, 2027. In this role, you will develop and implement engaging programs based on the Ministry of Education’s pedagogy. You will be part of a team committed to providing a safe space for children’s emotional and social development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and evaluate day-to-day operations of educational programs

• Implement learning programs like “How Does Learning Happen?”

• Maintain a safe environment responsive to children's needs

• Supervise children, ensuring quality play-based learning

• Interact with clients from diverse backgrounds

Requirements:

• Diploma/degree in Early Childhood Education

• Minimum 2 years of experience with children

• Knowledge of Child Care and Early Years Act

• Current First Aid/CPR certification

• Experience with culturally diverse families
