Position: Youth Pastor for Next Generation Ministry
Join Mount Hamilton Baptist Church as a temporary Youth Pastor focused on discipleship and pastoral care for grades 6 to 12. Lead our dynamic Youth Ministry Program with growing engagement in the community.

As a temporary Youth Pastor, you will oversee and implement a vibrant ministry dedicated to our youth. This role involves supporting families, promoting faith development, and fostering a missional community atmosphere. Your passion for youth and experience in ministry will be pivotal in shaping the spiritual journeys of children and teens in our church.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meet regularly with youth in grades 6-12 for connection

• Lead weekly youth groups with our volunteer team

• Oversee the Junior Youth Sunday School program

• Organize yearly retreats, potentially with CBOQ groups

• Provide pastoral care and support during crises

Requirements:

• Background in theology or ministry

• Passion for youth ministry and discipleship

• Experience in youth engagement

• Master’s degree in Divinity or Theological Studies is an asset

• Ordination/Accreditation through Canadian Baptists preferred
