Make a significant impact as a Psycho-educational Consultant with the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board. This permanent part-time role focuses on assessments and strategies for students facing various challenges.

Reporting to the Manager of Psychological Services, you will provide psycho educational assessments and consultations to support school staff. Your expertise will help address learning, cognitive, behavioral, and social-emotional challenges faced by students. Collaboration within multi-disciplinary teams is key to successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psycho educational assessments for students

• Develop evidence-based strategies for educators

• Consult on learning and behavioral challenges

• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams

• Contribute to student growth and well-being

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree or Ph.D. in Psychology

• Registered or willing to register with the College of Psychologists of Ontario

• Strong communication skills in educational settings

• Current knowledge of learning disability criteria

• Practical experience within educational environments
