Early Childhood Educator in Rockton

Wesley Urban Ministries is seeking a Registered Early Childhood Educator for the BASP Program in Rockton. Inspire children's learning through effective programming and supervision.

This part-time permanent role at Rockton Elementary School requires a dedicated educator to create and maintain a safe, engaging environment for school-age children. You will plan and implement educational programs that promote inclusive practices and cater to diverse families. Your previous experience will enable you to meet various program objectives effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and promote day-to-day operations of the program

• Implement educational philosophies from the Ministry of Education

• Establish a supportive and safe learning atmosphere

• Supervise and engage with children through play-based activities

• Ensure compliance with all licensing requirements

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education or Child and Youth Work

• 2+ years of experience with school-age children

• Comprehensive knowledge of applicable legislation

• Current First Aid/CPR and N.V.C.I. training

• Collaborative engagement with families and community
