As a part-time teacher, you will ensure a seamless transition for students when regular teachers are absent. Your responsibilities will include planning meaningful learning activities and adopting various strategies to engage a diverse classroom. This role emphasizes the importance of cultivating a space that promotes belonging and addresses the unique needs of all students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Exhibit strong understanding of curriculum requirements
• Plan and implement engaging instructional activities
• Manage classroom routines effectively
• Differentiate lessons for multiple learning styles
• Maintain respectful communication with colleagues and students
Requirements:
• Certification from the Ontario College of Teachers
• Qualifications in Primary/Junior or Junior/Intermediate divisions
• Commitment to a minimum of 30 full days per school year
• Experience with diverse student communities desirable
• Commitment to equity in educational practices
