Position: Daily Occasional Teaching Roles
Make a positive impact as a Daily Occasional Teacher with the Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board. Support student learning in a faith-driven educational environment.

This role is for committed Ontario certified teachers ready to provide exceptional instruction to a diverse student body. Applicants should reflect the values of the Board and be willing to obtain a current Vulnerable Sector Check prior to taking on responsibilities. Group interviews may be held to better assess candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement lesson plans and engage students effectively

• Manage classroom dynamics with a positive approach

• Collaborate with faculty to enhance education quality

• Uphold a culture of respect and inclusivity

• Contribute to the overall school community

Requirements:

• Certification from the Ontario College of Teachers required

• Full completion of teaching degree coursework is mandatory

• Vulnerable Sector Check to be provided upon hire

• Commitment to promoting diversity and equity

• Experience in a classroom setting is welcomed
