Writing Skills Support Coordinator

The SSC seeks writing advisors to empower students in their academic journey.
Your role will be to facilitate individualized writing sessions and small-group workshops, while producing materials that aid students in mastering academic writing. Collaboration with faculty is key, allowing you to support a diverse learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Offer one-on-one support for academic writing improvement
• Conduct small-group sessions to foster a supportive writing community
• Present workshops on various writing-related strategies
• Keep records of student support activities and sessions
• Collaborate on the development of educational resources
Requirements:
• Completion of a relevant undergraduate degree
• Experience in research or writing contexts preferred
• PhD candidates are encouraged to apply
• Previous teaching assistant experience is an asset
• Proficiency in the writing process and academic standards
