This itinerant position requires you to work collaboratively with students who are blind or have low vision, facilitating their learning through the Expanded Core Curriculum. You will be responsible for implementing Individual Education Plans while utilizing innovative teaching methods and technology to foster independence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver support services for students with visual impairments
• Implement the Expanded Core Curriculum effectively
• Assist in developing Individual Education Plans
• Provide training and workshops for staff and parents
• Utilize assistive technology to support learning
Requirements:
• EA qualification or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of Unified English Braille
• Experience with assistive technology tools
• Valid vehicle for travel to multiple schools
• Strong organizational and communication skills
Make an impactful difference by aiding students with visual impairments in their educational journey.
