Enhance numeracy skills as the Math Success Program Facilitator at Neighbour to Neighbour. This part-time role leads after-school programs for grades 5-8, building a supportive and engaging environment.
In this facilitating position, you will implement activities aimed at improving essential math skills for children. You are expected to engage participants by following structured lesson plans and utilize positive behavior management techniques. Tracking progress and mentoring volunteer tutors will be essential to your role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate engaging math programming for youth grades 5-8
• Work independently and follow lesson plans confidently
• Adapt lessons based on individual participant needs
• Provide mentoring support to both participants and volunteers
• Collaborate with coordinators to track participant data
Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years in program development with children
• Degree/diploma in relevant educational fields
• Experience with diverse communities
• Valid First Aid/CPR and driver's license
• Current vulnerable sector check
