Applicants should have an MSc or PhD in relevant fields and share a strong faith commitment aligning with Redeemer’s mission. Faculty members will be key contributors in teaching, research, and program development, offering courses in biology and nurturing students' understanding of ecological systems. Participation in collaborative initiatives is encouraged.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach courses such as Ecology, Flora and Fauna, and Senior Seminar
• Mentor students through research and academic projects
• Collaborate with colleagues on program improvement
• Engage in research pertinent to ecology and environmental sustainability
• Develop partnerships with local conservation organizations
Requirements:
• Advanced degree in ecology, conservation biology, or related areas
• Alignment with Redeemer's Christian mission and values
• Strong record or potential for effective teaching
• Willingness to engage in collaborative projects
• Interest in conducting research within the ecologically rich local area
