Use your Junior qualifications in a Grade 5/6 classroom with the Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board. This full time LTO assignment supports elementary teaching.
The Board is seeking an Elementary Teacher for a full time, 1.0 long term occasional assignment. The successful candidate will teach a Grade 5/6 classroom. Applicants must be members in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers and have obtained Junior qualifications. Applicants with specified qualifications receive priority for this vacancy.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide classroom teaching for Grade 5/6 students
- Deliver the assigned full time elementary teaching placement
- Contribute to the Board’s classroom staffing requirements
- Good standing membership with the Ontario College of Teachers
- Junior qualifications for the elementary assignment
- Availability for the long term occasional position
- Partial qualifications may be considered after the second posting
