We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Technologist Co‑op Student to join our team for a 4‑month work term. This opportunity will provide hands‑on experience in a dynamic mining environment, allowing the student to apply academic knowledge to real‑world environmental monitoring and compliance initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with our environmental team to support sustainability, regulatory compliance and site environmental management programs.
Location:
Côté Gold mine site (Gogama, Ontario).
Schedule:
14 on, 14 off rotational.
- Assist in environmental monitoring programs, including air, water, and soil sampling.
- Support regulatory compliance by collecting and analyzing environmental data.
- Conduct field inspections to assess environmental risks and mitigation strategies.
- Assist in waste management and recycling initiatives.
- Utilize GIS mapping and environmental software for data analysis and reporting.
- Participate in sustainability projects and biodiversity conservation efforts.
Key Skills & Knowledge:
- Currently enrolled in an Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or related post‑secondary program.
- Must be registered in a recognized co‑op or internship program.

- Ability to work in field conditions.
Salary Range: $20‑24 per hour. The final offer is determined based on your individual skills, qualifications, and competencies and aligned with our commitment to internal equity.
