Responsibilities
Conduct QA Field Inspections in coordination with construction crewsCommunicate with Construction/Splicing managers upon site visitsVisit FSA site (FDH and route) and any civil built and fill out QA checklistReport back to construction and splicing manager on any deficienciesPass or mark defect according to client standard and checklist providedCheck that any deviations from original design are marked properly on as-builtSend in completed checklist at end of inspection phase and list of open/closed deficienciesPropose strategies to avoid duplication of work, minimize processing times, and reduce costsAdherence to and promotion of the Canadian environmental, health & safety policiesProtects organization’s value by keeping company’s information, confidential.Perform follow-up with responsible parties to complete remediations on a timely mannerPerform other duties as requested, directed or assignedPerformance of other duties as requested, directed, orPersonal Qualities

1-3 years’ relevant experience in the Telecommunication fieldProficient in MS Office, specifically Excel, Word, Visio, and Power Point Knowledge to work with Micro Station or AutoCADKnowledge in the following considered an asset: GPON FTTP, FTTx, other Outside Plant DesignBeing able to read and understand telecommunication network drawings an assetWorking Conditions
