Enhance urban development in Hamilton as a GIS and 3D Visualization Specialist. Develop dynamic 3D models and conduct spatial analysis to support planning decisions.
Reporting to the Coordinator of Information Systems & Cartography Planning, you will focus on creating the City’s 3D model and supporting urban projects through detailed analyses.
Your role will integrate GIS technologies to assist in public awareness and policy development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and update the City’s 3D model using GIS tools
• Perform line of sight and other analytical studies
• Manage digital spatial databases and mapping outputs
• Collaborate with teams for 3D data sourcing
• Conduct quality control for data integrity
Requirements:
• Degree in relevant fields like Geography or Architecture
• Proficient in ESRI products and 3D modeling software
• Familiarity with municipal planning processes
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Class “G” driver’s license required
