Position: Estimator with CSL Group
CSL Group seeks a Senior Civil Construction Estimator in the Greater Hamilton Region for a full-time role. This position emphasizes tender leadership and support throughout project life cycles.
Your extensive estimating experience will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional civil projects, ranging from parks to municipal infrastructure. You will be responsible for reviewing technical specifications, preparing detailed quantities, and collaborating with project managers and senior staff. This is an opportunity to lead estimating efforts while mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the tender process for large-scale civil projects

• Review and analyze specifications and contract documents

• Create accurate quantity take-offs and budget estimates

• Coordinate bid pricing with suppliers and subcontractors

• Proactively identify risks and value engineering options
Requirements:

• Over 5 years of civil construction estimating experience

• Familiarity with public tenders and bidding strategies

• Proficient in necessary software, including Heavy Bid

• Strong leadership and organization skills

• Educational background in Civil Engineering Technology or related fields
