Harris in Waterdown, Ontario, as an Electro-Optical Technician on afternoon shifts. This role focuses on complex electro-mechanical assembly, troubleshooting, and testing in a detailed-oriented environment.
As an Electro-Optical Technician Level B, you will leverage 3-5 years of experience in mechanical and electro-mechanical fields. Your expertise will involve interpreting schematics, diagnosing faults, and working collaboratively in a cross-functional environment. Adhering to safety protocols, you will manage multiple priorities while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze and interpret complex schematics for assembly
• Execute assembly of electro-mechanical systems with precision
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical components
• Conduct environmental testing and analyze performance data
• Collaborate with teams to resolve assembly defects
Requirements:
• 3-5 years in mechanical or electro-mechanical roles
• Community College diploma or equivalent in related fields
• Technical proficiency in schematics and assembly
• Experience in ISO
9000 or AS9100 environments
• Ability to operate large test equipment
