You will coordinate complex design efforts for highways and various roadways while mentoring junior staff within the transportation division. Your responsibilities include preparing detailed specifications, optimizing designs, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Engaging with clients and contractors, you will play a crucial role in the success of multi-faceted infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed designs for regional and local roads

• Review compliance of CADD designs and shop drawings

• Develop contract specifications and documentation

• Mentor and support junior engineering staff

• Liaise with clients and oversee project execution
Requirements:

• Licensed P.Eng. in Ontario

• At least 10 years of experience in highway design

• Strong skills in AutoCAD and Project Wise

• Familiar with MTO approvals and standards

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
