Position: Hamilton Water Wastewater Technologist Role
Be a valuable member of the City of Hamilton as a Technologist in Water and Wastewater Capital Delivery. Focus on project coordination, contractor supervision, and documentation management.

In this 12-month position, reporting to the Senior Project Manager of Capital Works, you will assist with the organization's water and wastewater facilities.

Your role involves coordinating external contractors, engaging in project audits, and maintaining compliance with City standards. A background in capital projects, along with strong organizational and communication skills, is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage interactions with contractors and internal teams

• Oversee the documentation of capital projects

• Participate in design reviews and construction monitoring

• Assist in the annual updates of manuals and procedures

• Handle public inquiries and provide timely feedback

Requirements:

• Relevant experience in water and wastewater systems

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Share Point

• Strong skills in document management systems

• Effective communication abilities across all levels

• Must hold a valid Class “G” Driver’s Licence
