Pursue your passion for environmental planning as an Environmental Planner at Stantec in Ontario. Collaborate in a dynamic team setting on various infrastructure projects that prioritize stakeholder relationships.
As part of the Assessment and Permitting team, you'll assist in analyzing environmental data and preparing impactful documentation and reports.
Your role includes engaging with regulatory agencies and Indigenous communities, which is crucial for informed environmental decision-making and project development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support engineering staff by identifying key environmental issues
• Interact with clients and Indigenous communities for consultations
• Assist in drafting proposals and maintaining correspondence
• Document environmental processes in line with legislation
• Attend public and client meetings, both virtual and in-person
Requirements:
• University degree in Environmental Studies or related discipline
• 0-2 years of relevant experience in planning
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to build positive stakeholder relationships
• Clean driver's license necessary for travel
