- Lead initiatives to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and production performance.
- Drive continuous improvement and root cause resolution for production issues.
- Facilitate scrap, FTT, and product focus meetings and manage action plans.
- Ensure production cells operate efficiently with proper error‑proofing and quality systems.
- Collaborate with technicians and operators to resolve operational issues.
- Improve key performance indicators such as scrap, cycle time, throughput, and tool cost.
- Develop Specifications of Requirements (SOR) and support capacity planning.
- Support equipment run‑off, implementation, and validation activities.
- Drive successful program launches and ensure proper Advanced Quality Planning (AQP) documentation.
- Maintain process documentation including PFMEA, process flows, and standardized work.
- Lead engineering changes and ensure compliance with customer and internal requirements.
- Ensure compliance with ISO, IATF, and environmental and safety standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Applied Science, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in manufacturing and automotive quality environments.
- Strong knowledge of quality tools (FMEA, SPC, DOE, PPAP, problem resolution).
- Experience with continuous improvement and process optimization.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally and influence at all levels.
- Experience with project planning tools (e.g., Microsoft Project).
- Experience leading cross‑functional teams or improvement initiatives.
- Exposure to assembly automation or high‑volume manufacturing.
- Knowledge of customer launch processes and advanced quality systems.
