At WSP, your expertise will shape electrical designs for mining and industrial settings, bringing over 12 years of engineering experience to the table. You will apply your technical knowledge in hazardous environments and conduct important power-system studies. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective project execution, while also mentoring the next generation of engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design electrical distribution and control systems for industry
• Conduct load flow and arc-flash analyses using ETAP or Easy Power
• Prepare specifications for switch gear, MCCs, and transformers
• Oversee design accuracy through field reviews and evaluations
• Mentor junior staff and build client relationships
Requirements:
• 12+ years of electrical design experience
• Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario
• Strong understanding of CSA, IEEE, and building codes
• Proficiency in power-system modelling tools
• Collaborative mindset for multidisciplinary teams
