Stern Laboratories Inc. is seeking a full-time Laboratory Technologist to work alongside experienced professionals on complex experimental designs. In this position, you will handle tasks such as material inspections, fuel simulator fabrication, and project assembly according to specific procedures. The role requires basic understanding of thermal dynamics and hands-on experience with machine tools.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct incoming material inspections and create reports
• Fabricate and assemble fuel simulators
• Support project assembly and teardown as per specifications
• Machine parts and implement necessary modifications
• Maintain laboratory standards and equipment
Requirements:
• College diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology
• Basic understanding of thermal dynamics and fluid flow
• Experience in machine shop practices
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• Ability to read technical documents and assembly drawings
