As part of WSP’s Resources subsector, you will play a key role in supporting heavy industrial clients across Canada. The ideal candidate will possess extensive design expertise in instrumentation and controls. Your efforts will culminate in enhanced safety, reliability, and efficiency for substantial mining projects from initial concept to final commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead design and technical implementation of I&C systems
• Oversee control philosophy and system architecture
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Drive innovation through advanced automation technologies
• Provide mentorship and technical leadership for project teams
Requirements:
• Minimum 18 years of electrical engineering experience
• Degree in Electrical, Instrumentation or related engineering
• P.Eng. designation in Canada
• Strong expertise in PLC, DCS, SCADA systems
• Proven experience in commissioning and troubleshooting
