You will assist in planning, developing, and executing capital projects, technical development, and feasibility analysis of engineering-related activities in the supply chain to support growth, world-class manufacturing and productivity. You will help ensure that Mondelèz business and innovation processes in project management and Mondelèz standards in execution are followed.
How You Will ContributeThe role supports capital project execution, and you will be accountable for the quality of the results and execution of capital projects using Mondelèz standards. You will help define and deliver the capital and technical agenda during the development phase of capital investments, ensuring accurate budgets, plans, and fit-for-purpose technical solutions. You will develop the capital budget according to the contract and forecast cash flow.
You will also help ensure that applicable engineering developments and standards are properly implemented and support the development and implementation of state-of-the-art processes and equipment strategies to optimize resources, harmonize assets, and rollout best practices.
- Engineering or operations experience
- Working effectively under pressure to meet deadlines
- Strong analysis and project management skills
- 2-5 years of capital project management experience
- Experience leading and leveraging cross-functional project teams to drive project outcomes
- Demonstrated success in the project management cycle
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to evolving project requirements and situational changes
- Strong Cap Ex Project Management experience
- B.S. in Engineering; P.Eng license (or working toward) preferred
- Food manufacturing experience preferred
- Knowledge of local regulations, codes, and standards as applicable
- Certifications relevant to project management are considered advantageous
- Infrequent travel as required (e.g., vendor site visits, factory acceptance tests)
- 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, reporting to the Hamilton Confectionary facility in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada
- Occasional flexibility in work times may be required (e.g., interacting with OEMs in different time zones, supervising off-shift/weekend/holiday installations)
The expected base salary range for this position is $76,800 to $96,000 CAD, depending on factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. The position is eligible for a highly competitive bonus program.
