Position: Senior Controls Engineer for Mining Projects
Shape the future of mining engineering at WSP as a Senior Instrumentation & Controls Engineer. Focus on delivering innovative solutions for heavy industrial projects throughout Ontario.

In this role, you will provide senior-level expertise in instrumentation and controls engineering, focusing on new and brown-field projects. Your responsibilities will span the entire project lifecycle, from conceptual phases through execution and optimization. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams is key, as you ensure compliance and deliver high-value solutions tailored to client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design instrumentation and control systems for mining

• Develop system architecture and functional specifications

• Lead innovation in automation and control technologies

• Mentor project teams and uphold technical excellence

• Engage with clients to assess and meet operational demands

Requirements:

• 12+ years of relevant industrial engineering experience

• Degree in Electrical or Instruments Engineering

• P.Eng. designation or eligibility is an asset

• Strong background in control systems for heavy industries

• Proven experience in safety systems and regulatory compliance
