At Dillon, we seek a dedicated Intermediate Coastal Engineer to contribute to our Water Resources discipline. You will manage coastal engineering tasks, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on vital projects. Ideal candidates will possess excellent communication skills and a strong problem-solving orientation while developing client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead coastal engineering projects and provide technical guidance

• Manage assessments on coastal flooding and erosion

• Conduct hydrotechnical assessments in coastal environments

• Prepare technical reports, drawings, and specifications

• Support proposal development for coastal pursuits

Requirements:

• Degree in civil or coastal engineering

• 4-7 years of relevant experience, ideally in consulting

• Proficiency in scripting (Matlab, Python)

• Experience with coastal modeling tools (Delft3D, MIKE
21)

• Knowledge of coastal design guidelines and standards
